wei chuanyi was born in 1928 da county of sichuan province. in early years he studied in sichuan provincial art institute and central art academy .he was once the director of didactical department of sichuan provincial art acadmy ,the vice-chairman of sichuan provincial poem calligraphy and painting academy,the chairman,professor andmaster's hierophant of art education acadmy of xiamen university.now he's the vice-chairman of the painting room of the standing committee offujian provincial people's congress , the adviser of fujian provincial artist association, the chairman of fujian provincaial art education research instiute ,the cuncil member of fujian provincial int ernational economy and culture exchange center,theadviser of fujian provincial artist association, the chairman of fujian provincial art education research institute, the council member of fujian provincial internationnal economy and culture exchange center,the honorary chairman of art research society of xiamen university ,the chairman of xiamen municipal painting and callig-raphy education academy.
